Last night was a great event in Malacca called ECC Nite Ride 2010...... with total of over 1500 riders. The ride starts at 8.30pm covering total distance of 45 km into the Ayer Keroh jungles.
Everyone have their own lighting at front & back and it was an awesome sight while riding on the highway for a few km before heading into the jungle..... this is a yearly event and a must for every MTB riders to attend. Due to earlier rain, the 1st sector was muddy & struggling for all riding thru this patch. The 2nd & 3rd section was great riding thru kampungs, single track, crossing streams, etc.
Anyway, I got out and reached the finishing line at 2400 hrs... that is a 3.5 hrs grueling non-stop riding. My next target is the Penang Kayuh Lasak 2010 in December............ 48 km ......... but it is a day light riding though.
